We develop the design industry in Ukraine: we give free access to knowledge, support the design community and take part in charitable causes.
Spaceberry Foundation (legal name: Public Organization "Spaceberry Foundation") is a public organization registered in Kyiv, Ukraine, on March 21, 2025, by the team of the design studio Spaceberry Studio, which has experience delivering Ukrainian government projects. We run a free design community, hold design games and workshops and support Ukrainian initiatives.
A public organization is a non-entrepreneurial association whose main purpose is not to make a profit. All of the organization's funds go to its statutory activities.

A two-week design game for Spaceberry Community members. We choose the direction together: at the start the community votes on the brief. All entries are shown to everyone, and the community vote decides the winner.

Charity workshop ·
Denys Osadchyi, the author of the AI tool Figmosha, ran an online workshop for the community: how to install and set up the tool, generate interfaces in Figma and analyse a design system. Entry was a donation of any amount for shelters for stray cats; the fundraiser was run by the workshop author.

Design game ·
Community members reimagined the home page of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture from the point of view of an applicant, a student and a teacher. The direction of the game was chosen by vote, and the winner was chosen by community vote among three entries. Because of power outages, the deadline was extended by two days.

Participants built a sales landing page for a made-up product, with the logo, copy and visuals generated by AI tools. The community reviewed four entries and chose the winner by anonymous vote; participants shared their prompts and tools.

No. The community, design games and educational content are free. The exception is charity workshops, where the fee is a donation of any amount to the good cause named in the announcement.

The organization was founded in 2025 by the team of the design studio Spaceberry Studio. It is a separate legal entity — Public Organization "Spaceberry Foundation", EDRPOU code 45752931. The studio is a commercial company, while the foundation does not aim to make a profit.
Free programs for the design community — design games and their prizes, workshops and other initiatives. Donations are collected through a monobank jar. As a public organization, we do not distribute profit among the founders.
